A new year brings a fresh perspective. Rather than setting broad resolutions that fade by February, I prefer to lay down a clear theme for my work, learning, and community contributions.
For 2026, my theme is: Consistent Execution.
Here is the breakdown of what I am focusing on this year.
Building Useful Software
I want to spend less time reading about building and more time shipping. I am focusing on three core projects:
- Idea Thattukada: A tool to capture and organize ideas quickly while browsing.
- NutriDecide: A product aimed at assisting with nutrition and diet decisions.
- Otium: A Flutter-based cognitive focus app featuring sprint timers and breathing resets.
Learning in Public
Learning in public is one of the most effective ways to solidify knowledge. This year, my learning goals are:
- Rust: Understanding memory safety and concurrency concepts.
- Next.js & Server Components: Mastering the App Router model and performance optimizations.
- Generative AI: Deepening my understanding of prompt engineering and LLM application integrations.
Empowering Communities
Community is the heartbeat of my growth. I will continue my work with TinkerHub and campus chapters. Specifically:
- Mentorship sprints: Organizing 1-on-1 and team mentoring formats.
- Hackathons: Scoping and curating experiential workshops.
- Open-source onboarding: Creating accessible paths for students to start building.
