I'm 21.
And one question I've been hearing more often lately is:
"What are you going to do next?"
Honestly, I don't have a perfect answer.
For a long time, that bothered me.
I thought that by this age, I was supposed to have everything figured out. A clear career path. A clear goal. A five-year plan. Something I could confidently tell someone when they asked me about my future.
But my life hasn't really worked that way.
I Had Plans
I've always been someone who wanted to do something.
I explored technology, participated in competitions, built projects, joined communities, took responsibilities, tried different things, and kept looking for opportunities.
For a while, everything felt like it was moving forward.
Then somewhere along the way, I started questioning everything.
Why am I doing this?
What am I actually trying to achieve?
What is the point of becoming successful?
What do I really want from life?
I spent a lot of time thinking about questions that didn't have simple answers.
And eventually, I realized something:
Sometimes searching for the perfect answer can stop you from living the life that's happening right in front of you.
So I stopped trying to solve everything at once.
Not because I found all the answers.
I simply accepted that I didn't have them.
Then Life Started Happening
Some of the things I'm doing today weren't part of my original plan.
I ended up working as an intern in an environment I hadn't planned for.
I'm learning new technologies, working with new people, experiencing a different kind of work life, and understanding things that I couldn't have learned by simply staying inside my comfort zone.
I've also spent more time with people, explored places I hadn't explored before, and experienced parts of life that I probably wouldn't have planned on a calendar.
Some experiences were amazing.
Some were painful.
Some changed the way I look at myself.
And some simply happened.
That's life, I guess.
I Still Don't Know What's Next
I still don't have a perfect answer when someone asks me where I see myself in five years.
I don't know exactly what I'll be doing.
I don't know which opportunities I'll take.
I don't know which plans will work and which ones I'll eventually abandon.
And honestly, I'm becoming more comfortable with that.
Because I've started realizing that uncertainty doesn't mean emptiness.
Not knowing what's next doesn't mean I'm doing nothing.
I can still learn.
I can still build.
I can still meet people.
I can still make mistakes.
I can still try things.
I can still change my mind.
And I can still move forward.
Maybe That's Enough For Now
I'm still figuring out my career.
I'm still figuring out what kind of work I want to do.
I'm still learning how to manage my time, relationships, money, health, emotions, and everything else that comes with growing up.
I'm still figuring out myself.
Maybe that's what being 21 is supposed to feel like.
Not having everything figured out, but having enough curiosity to keep exploring.
So I've stopped demanding a complete map of my life.
I'll make plans.
I'll work toward them.
I'll change them when life gives me a reason to.
And if something unexpected comes along, I'll try to experience it instead of immediately asking whether it fits into some five-year plan.
Because I've learned that some of the most meaningful parts of my journey weren't planned at all.
A Little More From My Life
Writing doesn't always capture everything.
So I also recorded a small life update where I talk more casually about what has been happening in my life recently, what I'm working on, and some of the things I'm still figuring out.

I don't know what's next.
And for the first time, I'm not sure I need to.
There are still things I want to learn.
People I want to meet.
Things I want to build.
Places I want to explore.
And a version of myself I haven't met yet.
So for now, I'll keep going.
I'll figure out the next step when I get there.
