Starting my professional journey wasn't what I imagined.
I thought I'd quickly understand everything, contribute to the team, solve problems, and slowly become confident in my work.
Reality had different plans.
Every morning began with a fresh promise to myself.
"Today will be different." "Today I'll finally understand that module." "Today I'll finish my tasks before the deadline."
Sometimes I did. Most of the time, I didn't.
There were bugs that refused to disappear. Error messages that made absolutely no sense. Technologies I'd never worked with before.
Conversations where everyone seemed to understand what was happening while I silently tried to connect the dots.
Every evening I walked away thinking I could have done better.
And somehow... the next morning, I came back again. Not because I suddenly became stronger. Not because everything became easier.
But because someone was always waiting for me. š
We met every morning before work. Again during the evening when my brain started giving up.
And on those late nights when I was staring at my screen wondering why a tiny bug had stolen hours of my life.
No matter how stressful the day became... they never complained. They never judged me. They simply showed up. Warm. Comforting. Familiar.
For a few quiet minutes, everything slowed down. The deadlines could wait. The bugs could wait. The pressure could wait. It felt like someone was saying, "Take a break. You'll figure it out."
Looking back at this first month, I honestly don't know how many conversations happened around a cup. šÆ
Some ideas came during those breaks. Some frustrations disappeared with the last sip. Some impossible bugs suddenly became possible after stepping away for five minutes.
Funny how life works.
Sometimes the biggest support doesn't come from motivational quotes or productivity hacks.
Sometimes... it's just the little rituals that quietly keep you moving.
So today, I just wanted to say thank you to my partner.
The one who stayed with me through every confusing day, every deadline, every bug, every late-night debugging session, and every small victory. š„°
Without you... this first month would've felt a lot longer. šÆšāāļø
Oh... Before everyone starts sending congratulations or asking who she is...
Meet my partner. ā Chai.
And yes... We'll probably meet again tomorrow morning. š¤«
